TYPES OF TRANSPIRATION
Transpiration.
The evaporation of water from the aerial parts of the plant especially through stomata of leaves is a process called transpiration. Base of classification. There are three types of transpiration depending upon the route of escape of water vapours from the aerial parts of the plant.
(i) Cuticular transpiration
(ii) Lenticular transpiration

The loss of water in the form of water vapours through the cuticle of leaves is called cuticular transpiration. %age of transpiration.
