4.30: Oxidation and Miscillaneous Reactions of Sulfuric Acid Copy
This video lecture from Group VA and Group VIA Elements (F.Sc. second year Chemistry) covers the reactions of sulfuric acid involving oxidation. Sulfuric acid reduces to sulfur dioxide by oxidizing carbon to carbon dioxide, sulfur to sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide to sulfur and acid halides to their respective diatomic molecules.
